The Audio Stations

Created during The Palace Artist Residency in Poland in August 2023, three handmade recording spaces invited people to respond to Fear, Identity and Love. Each station held a recorder and could be used alone or with someone else to share a story, conversation, song or silence.

A field-recording workshop gathered sounds from the site. Contributions from around 150 participants were later composed into a 30-minute audio work of voices, songs, conversations, field recordings and silences.
